MBM’s Destroyit 3804 Strip-Cut Shredder provides the speedy shredding capabilities an office environment requires and the ease of use an office employee desires. This machine has an “Easy Switch” button which utilizes easy to read color-coding and symbols to convey the operational status of the machine. The 16” throat is capable of passing 25 sheets at once which makes data destruction quick and easy no matter the size or quantity of documents in need of shredding. The 44 gallon shred bin in the 3804SC adds extra convenience as the large capacity lends itself to less frequent emptying of the ¼” strips of paper and other materials. Non-paper materials that the machine shreds easily are paper clips, staples, CDs, DVDs, and credit cards. The power of the MBM 3804 SC is seen in the 1 horsepower motor and the 20 feet per minute shred speed, but power is nothing without safety to keep it on the leash. The 3804 SC has a safety protection system which includes the automatic power cut in the event that the paper jams, bin fills or door opens. Also present is a clear shield in the feed opening and double protection against overheating. In addition to safety features, the shredder has an environmentally-friendly energy saving mode in which the machine shuts off after an hour of inactivity. The Destroyit 3804 SC is backed by a lifetime warranty on the steel cutting shafts.
