The Destroyit 3804 Cross-Cut Level 4 Paper Shredder by MBM is a great choice if you require low volume shredding. This Destroyit model shreds up to 14 sheets at a time into 3/32 x 5/8 inch particles. The 16” wide feed opening can handle assorted materials, such as staples, paper clips, CDs, and credit cards. The high quality, hardened steel cutting shafts are extremely strong and durable. Because the cutting shaft is of such high quality, it is unlikely to break or become damaged and MBM provides the buyer with a lifetime warranty on it. The wooden cabinet is mounted on handy swivel casters. These casters are near impossible to break and make relocating the 233lb. Destroyit 3804 CC 4 much easier. A convenient shred bin can be found in this wooden cabinet. This plastic shred bin is heavy-duty and changes shredder bags from necessary to optional.
Quiet and powerful, the single phase motor allows for less bothersome and continuous operation. The Destroyit 3804 CC4 offers a comprehensive safety package (SPS), which decreases the possibility of harmful shredding. The “Easy Switch” control element features illuminated symbols which indicate shredder status. If the cabinet door or safety shield is open or if the shredder bin is full, the back-lit symbols will light up. The Destroyit 3804 offers double protection against overheating and features the “ESM” (Energy Saving Mode), which cuts shredder power after one hour of idleness. Finally, the Destroyit 3804 offers automatic reverse and power cut-off, which helps to avoid paper jams.
