The Destroyit 3105 cross cut level 4 paper shredder combines all the essential features to make it a perfect machine for any office. Photo cells located in the feed opening detect when paper is being fed and automatically starts/stops operation. The high quality, German made, steel cutting shaft shreds through various materials, including staples, paper clips, CDs, and credit cards. This cutting shaft is backed by MBM’s lifetime warranty, eliminating your concerns about damage. The wide, 12” feed opening handles up to 20 sheets, at 30 feet per minute, and produces 3/32” x 5/8” waste. These particles fall into the high capacity, 48 gallon shred bin. This heavy-duty, plastic shred bin makes bags optional and allows for trouble-free disposal. The “ECC” (Electronic Capacity Control) indicator displays the sheet capacity levels and helps you verify whether the Destroyit 3105 has become overloaded. If a paper jam occurs, the shredder automatically enters reverse mode and shuts off until the problem is repaired.Save money and electricity thanks to the “ESM” (Energy Saving Mode). The double protection against overheating, sturdy chain drive and dust-proof gear box housing all ensure that the Destroyit 3105 will remain in top shape. The Destroyit 3105 comes equipped with an automatic oiler, which constantly lubricates the cutting shaft during the shredding process and provides yet another guarantee that this shredder will remain in optimal condition for years.
