Description of the Destroyit Cross Cut 2604 Level 4 Shredder
The Destroyit 2604 cross cut level 4 shredder is dependable like its counterpart, the Destroyit 2604 level 3 cross cut. This cross cut model is activated with the “Easy Switch” button, which also provides illuminated icons that indicate operational status. Photo cells located within the 10 ¼” feed opening sense paper and automatically turns on shredder power. With a sheet capacity of 14 and a shred speed of 18 feet per minute, the Destroyit 2604 level 4 cross cut shreds your files into 3/32” x 5/8” particles. Control the amount of paper you feed and prevent paper jams with the help of the “ECC” (Electronic Capacity Control). The ECC displays sheet capacity levels on a color coded indicator and signifies when paper levels are dangerously high. If a paper jam occurs, the shredder will instantly go into reverse mode and shut off power until the problem is corrected.
The hardened steel cutting head is capable of shredding through various materials, such as staples, paper clips, CDs, and credit cards. This cutting shaft is extremely strong, and is backed by the MBM lifetime warranty. While you run the Destroyit 2604 level 4, the automatic oiling system lubricates the cutting head to keep your shredder in tip-top shape and able to perform at its best. The shredder saves electricity with the “ESM” (Energy Saving Mode), an energy saving feature that puts the shredder into “sleep” mode after one hour of idleness. This “ESM” as well as the double protection against overheating keeps the shredder operating at optimal levels and saves you money on potential repairs.
