I work at a school and my favorite office memory is trying to fix our copiers that kept breaking down all the time. We would all gather in our copy room trying to fix the machines and it often took three or four teachers to get them up and running again. Of the three copiers the school had, we normally only had one working at a time!

I have never actually worked in an office as an adult, so my favorite memory would have to be the office staff at elementary school

Favorite office memory is coming in to the office one Monday morning, being stopped in the foyer and told that I needed to turn around, go home, and pack for a trip (of unknown duration) to Japan. I flew out that afternoon. Successful trip, BTW!

While working in an Army Reservist Personnel Office, one of the reservists walked around taking collections for an officer who was on sick leave having eye surgery. The reservist was known for using words that were similar to the actual word she meant to use and often made for humorous conversation. At one of her stops to collect money for a card and gift, she was asked what was wrong with the officer for whom she was collecting. She replied, “He has a detached rectum.”

One of my favorite memories of when I worked in an office was when I took some cold medicine one day and it made me fall asleep at my desk.

I can’t really think of a funny story, but we have many memories of celebrating each other’s birthdays. Many friendships have been formed in offices.

My favorite office memory would have to be the office Christmas parties. That one time a year that everyone let their hair down and acted like family instead of co-workers. One year we even rented out almost the entire Coeur d’Alene Resort and partied all night long.

My favorite office memory is definitely the office Christmas parties. That one time a year when co-workers seemed like family instead of friends. One year we even rented out almost the entire Coeur d’Alene Resort and partied the whole night away!
