For smaller binding projects, the easy to use Akiles iCoil 41 is the answer. This compact coil binding machine features a manual punch with an electric inserter. It can punch up to 15 sheets of paper at one time, using cast hardened and heat-treated steel punch dies that are sure to last through many years of continuous use. The iCoil 41 produces a standard, round punch while the iCoil 41+ produces a slightly larger oval punch. To use, simply insert and align the paper using the side margin control and use the ergonomic handle to make a smooth, clean punch. The built in coil measuring guides will help you determine the proper coil size for your project. Insert the coil into the first few holes then use the foot pedal controlled electric inserter to quickly finish the process.

After the coil is inserted, crimp the ends with the handy coil crimp tool that has its own slot right on top of the machine, and your project is finished. When not in use, the iCoil 41 folds up flat for easy storage and the convenient cover protects the machine from dust and damage. Its compact size makes it perfect for desktop use.
